I am a Hypnotherapist of some repute and I have been interested in this area for some years now.

My publishing team begged me to review this particular course and so this I have done to the best of my abilities. I could forsee problems from those who I had turned down in the past - but what the heck - when my publisher asks me to do something, its really an order dressed up lol.

I will call this researcher Anita (which is obviously not her real name). Anita had been working for me for almost 5 years and she knew that I have a bit of a thing about the very low standard of information which was being given to people who were investigating becoming involved in the remarkable medium of hypnosis. I am even in the throws of writing my own course and this is why Anita had come across the resource that she did.

I licked my pencil and snarled at the paper - if they were going to make me do this, then it had better be good…..or else…… So I started my investigation.

Having now reviewed the course, I have to say that I could now see what all the fuss was about. I was a bit frustrated at my lack of ability to be overly critical in many areas but this just symbolised how strong this work really was (or should I say is).

When I opened the site was happy that the sales letter was short - I just cannot stand long sales letters and I only scroll down to the bottom of the page when I find them. The site and the course had been written by John Hill and I had to admit he was giving away a pile of free gifts which looked to be of real use. I normally find that free gifts are useless but in this case they looked relevant and I thought that some people might be inclined to buy it just for these free bits. I found that to be quite refreshing.

John’s credentials are impressive, he is an NLP Master Practitioner and a Master Hypnotherapist and this made me realise instantly that I was not looking at someone who had only learned his craft in a few weeks. With those credentials he would be very skilled in the art of hypnosis and hypnotherapy.

The testimonials on the site looked real and I sent him a message asking to see a copy of these, by return email. It took a day but I could see that they were in fact true original testimonials and that is always a positive sign for me.

It was obvious reading the letter that John was passionate about the subject and I could identify with this. I dont like dealing with people with no passion.

The course seemed to be equally pitched at both beginners and established hypnotherapy professionals which is not easy to do I must say. These courses are usually one or the other but rarely both.

I then noticed that John had a 100% guarantee - well that would not be there unless his belief in his product was unshakeable so things were indeed looking up.

I decided to purchase the course and I was a bit startled at the cost - only $57 - I havent paid less that $1,000 for a course before - I am only interested normally in top quality material - after all I am a professional. You wouldn’t expect Bono to sing from a microphone that had been purchased for $10 from Walmart would you ?

The course was sent to me by pdf quickly and this was what I had expected to be honest.

The first thing that hit me was how well the book was laid out. it has 110 pages and is split into 15 very well thought out chapters. Even the History of Hypnosis was covered. Nice ! There were specific directions into several of the most common interventions and that is not normally covered in a book of this cost.

I went through the book and I was quite surprised as to how high the quality of the whole thing was. The pictures were well chosen and appropriate, the techniques were correctly listed and had an interesting and then I was completely blown away by one single heading. This was “Hypno-Sleep”. I had already some experience of this but I knew that not many hypnotherapists knew about this technique. It was something that the famous hypnotherapist from many years ago Dave Elman used to teach, and is one of the most effective ways of helping children that I have ever come across. I really did not expect to see Dave Elman techniques to be listed in a beginners manual.

It took me a few hours to go through the whole book and overall I found it very well researched, beautifully illustrated and put forward in an easy to understand manner. In the interests of providing some balance to this review, I must admit that there is a negative element to my findings of this hypnotherapy course.

The only area that I could criticize is on the aspect of price and that is not a thing you should be worried about really, or at least not yet. I was of the opinion that John Hill should be charging at least $597 for this course, after all I have courses for sale with less in them than this one for over $1,000 so I know what I am talking about.

I had thought on asking John Hill to allow me to sell this product to my own customers but I would not even attempt it at this price. It is therefore my intention to conact the author and ask him to increase his price to something more respectable.

So you have it there - I thoroughly recommend that anyone wishing either get into Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy or if you are already a professional but you want to review some material - you can’t go wrong by purchasing this book whatever its price is.

Well done John Hill on producing a really sound and conscientious introduction into the wonderful world of learning hypnosis. This book is destined to be a best seller and long may it remain on the top of the list.
