You can show off all of your dealership’s new model vehicles with video! It’s a great way to get attention for the latest models and makes that just recently arrived on your lot. And it’s the perfect opportunity to entice potential car buyers with the best of the best as soon as you get it, increasing the chance that they will learn about the new models first from your website and hopefully come to your dealership when they want to buy.

Display your inventory of used cars. Dealerships actually sell a lot more used vehicles than they do new, yet they don’t often focus on displaying their used car inventory as well as they could. You can create videos for all of your new inventory as soon as it comes in to increase your sales.

A fun special feature on any dealership’s website is a web gallery of videos on specialty vehicles. Granted, most dealerships don’t sell a lot of specialty vehicles-whether they are energy efficient hybrids or custom painted models and the like-but these vehicles really generate a lot of human interest. On the other hand, you could also create a video that showcases several different vehicles. Perhaps all the vehicles would be made by a particular manufacturer and show their list of new offerings. Single Person Walk-around: A single person walk-around is the easiest way to present a car. You can start either at the hood or on the driver side. If you have a sale person who is very charismatic this will work for you.

Walk-around video-multiple person. You can also create unique videos that feature multiple personalities and people. This gives the viewer a chance to see other people they may encounter at your business. It’s also a great way to take a humorous approach.

Video online is the perfect way to introduce everyone to your dealership. While many people may never have even visited your lot-or they may be “shopping around” for dealerships to visit for an upcoming purchase in multiple cities-they can get a real feel for what your dealership has to offer by viewing your video. You can introduce viewers to the staff at your dealership, show them around the entire place, and highlight anything and everything that is special about your business.

Promotions and event publicity. Whenever you run a special promotion, a sale, or sponsor an event, you can create a video about it. This is a great way to generate buzz and excitement in advance. When the event is over, take the video off your site and replace it with new, more current material.
