Better Shopping Carts Means Better Shopping

Sep 30, 2008 Author: Kirt Christensen | Filed under: Internet Marketing

Being a stay at home mom creates a number of challenges in choosing where to shop. With two small boys, factors such as parking, willingness to help from store employees and even the maneurverability of the shopping carts can determine where and I can or can not shop.

Even today, most households require the woman to do most of the shopping for the family. Of course this may not always be fare, but its the reality we live in. Factors such as convenience and the other challenges mentioned above play a big role. As such, I must visit a beauty supply store later this morning. With its narrow aisles and lack of shopping carts, my time inside the store will be minimal.

I believe this is true for alot of stay at home moms with children. The inability to maneuver through a store may keep them from visiting the store all together or may limit their shopping to specific items only. This means less money will be spent and limited \”impulse buys\”. All in the attempt to avoid a public melt down by either mom or the kids.

Of the various factors, maybe the most important one is the shopping cart. For me to shop at a store and possibly linger versus simply getting the specific items I seek, the shopping cart needs to be wide enough to securely place a car seat or infant carrier inside without the feeling of the possibility that the cart may topple over.

The ideal shopping cart for a small business should be sturdy and lightnot bulky and heavy. It should be large enough to contain the items a shopper needs, but not so large that maneuvering through aisles becomes difficult and frustrating.

On several occassions, I have simply left a store due to frustration created by shopping carts being the wrong size for the shop I was in, or the wheels not working correctly or even aisles to cluttered for me the navigate through them to get to the items which I am most interested. I seem to avoid these stores in the future due to these bad experiences.

I understand that there is a fine line between having shopping carts the appropiate size in comparison to the needed aisle width to accomodate the type of products a store may carry. But I need a cart which is large enough for a five year old to sit in the basket along with whatever items I am purchasing. A good balance is needed for a store to provide a convenient place to shop.

To put so much emphasis on the shopping cart may seem silly, but it’s necessary. There is one particular store which I have had to avoid until my child was big enough to sit up on his own. The stores carts would not accomodate my infant carrier. For my small business, I would make sure to provide a shopping cart that was light weight, probably plastic, sturdy, free turning wheels, wide enough for an infant carrier to be secure and possibly allow for a second child inside. It would be the appropraite size based on the overall size of the store, the products sold at the store and the width of the aisles. This would ensure its ability to maneuver throughout the store and would allow for customers to linger and spend more time, hence spend more money.

Donat Get Scammed Online

Sep 30, 2008 Author: Tim May | Filed under: Internet Marketing

If you are looking for information about internet marketing, you may be tempted to use an online service. Marketers with legitimate sounding backgrounds often develop and offer these programs. This explains why people often believe that these programs will work well.

Unfortunately, very often people who try these online marketing programs are left aholding the baga. Often they are baffled as to exactly how they got taken. A lot of online marketing ploys have one goal - to get your money in exchange for little or nothing. This unfortunate set of circumstances causes trouble for legitimate online marketers who lose business because of the dishonest actions of others.

So how does your average person get scammed? The sad explanation, in a word, is atrusta. People looking for advice on how to market their products and improve their sales want to be able to trust someone. Often they will do so, even if the situation may not seem completely kosher.

It is always a good idea to know the background of anyone you do business with online or otherwise. Obvious scammers usually have bad reputations that are easy to uncover with a little internet research. Unhappy customers are not shy about airing their dissatisfaction. So the obvious ones are - well - obviious! But there are some that really do seem legitimate. It can be very difficult to discern exactly which are on the up-and-up and which are not.

Here are a few things to watch out for. First, anyone trying to sell you free information is suspicious. If you can find it out for yourself, you shouldnat have to pay for it or pay for any benefit you may get from it. Second, if the information seems sketchy or out-of-date, avoid it. Third, be certain that any information or advice you buy will really pertain to you and your target audience.

The advice that is often provided in the guides can be outdated as well, and can be operating on the fringes of the law if not outwardly illegal altogether. The gurus themselves often utilized less than savory means to make their money or gain their accreditation as gurus to begin with. As a result, their advice to the consumer may be overtly poor and unique to their own specific marketing operation only.

Internet marketing rip offs are all too common, so the business person looking for marketing services online should look to deal with reputable firms or other outfits who are a bit more forthcoming with their background. Often, a highly regarded firm will have many repeat and satisfied customers who will be more than willing to tell you the finer points of their experiences.

Sharp eyes and an inquiring mind can help you avoid being scammed. Identify and utilize companies that provide honest services. Your word of mouth advertising will help others know how to choose. Likewise, let others know when you inevitably encounter poor business practices. Please visit Badguruscams.com to find out more about internet scams.

Internet Web Marketing

Sep 29, 2008 Author: joseph cotroneo | Filed under: Internet Marketing

When it comes to internet web marketing, many people jump on the band wagon, hoping to experience the rags to riches story in their own life. Internet web marketing is sold heavily everyday online. So it’s easy to run after every guru’s latest gravy train.

That’s the beauty of the way making money is sold. Just as you buy one system you are told weeks later that you need this latest system otherwise you could be leaving thousands on the table. They put the carrot in front of the donkey and keep it there.

Many people don’t realize this right away. Instead they keep following along, looking for the dream deal that one thing that will make them rich overnight. These scammers appeal to the emotional need in everyone to be successful. They dazzle them with glitz and glitter selling the idea that going into business on the web is so much easier than starting a real business. They know that people make decisions with their heart and emotions most times and not with their heads.

Sure, everyone wants to have a life that is better, no matter where you are from. We want to accomplish a lot and feel great about what we have done. These emotions are very strong and the people who sell these programs are well aware of this.

Just think, most people who sell cars will use imagery to sell you the car. They tell you how great you’ll look in the car and how it will look wonderful in front of your home. Of course this sounds great to you since you want to look great. So, you may find yourself making an emotional decision to purchase a car you really didn’t want or need.

Internet web marketing is no different. Web pages are designed to cater to the emotional needs of desperate people looking for a better life. They appeal to the desire, the ego and promise wealth and an easy life.

So now that we understand what drives a market to buy products we ourselves have to apply techniques that will work for us. Example every time you get an e-mail from a guru trying to sell you something, save the e-mail and study it.

Once you realize that you’ve been had, your first instinct is to get angry. Shelve that. When you get an email promising you wealth and fortune, cars, trips and vacations all paid for, take a good look at it. Study the email to see what it is really about. Use it as an outline of how you would promote your own product that is similar to what the other guy is selling. This is a guide you can use, and if you can figure out what buttons it pushed and how it pulled on your emotions, you will understand a bit more about the sales market.

There are many different techniques that can help you with internet web marketing; however, when you understand your emotions and what drives them, it can help you tap into the emotions of other people. This will help you to come up with great landing pages that will help you presell your products. It will also help you to write sales and email copy as well, and you’ll be getting many names to add to your email list.

Then follow up with good content and introduce your character, then relate to their needs and give them what they are looking for and the rest as they say is history.

Once you get past the scams and schemes, you will find that there are distinct advantages to getting into Internet marketing. It doesn’t take a lot of money to get started, as long as you understand that scams will take your money. You can really make money in your sleep, if you follow some sound advice and exercise the same judgments you do use in the real world. Take the schemes emails and use it as a blueprint to build a real, integrity-rich product or service. You won’t be able to help but become successful as a result.

Various Types of Residual Income

Sep 29, 2008 Author: joe cotroneo | Filed under: Internet Marketing

Just what is residual income? Residual income is a passive type of income, which continues to be generated after the initial effort for income production is over. Comparatively, linear income, which is the way most of us are used to making money, is normally paid as a signal shot payment - a fee, salary, or wage. It’s directly proportional to the amount of work you’ve done, either by piece or by the hour.

Many individuals understand the many benefits that are associated with an income that is considered residual. The main advantage of this type of income is that it continues to pay out on a consistent basis. For many individuals, this allows time to actively pursue other projects and interests. By participating in projects that offer you residual payments, you can enjoy the luxury of receiving compensation long after the project has been successfully completed. That project will pay you time and time again.

If you are interested in acquiring an income that is considered to be residual in nature, there are numerous methods to do so. Here, you will find many opportunities that you can take advantage of in order to accomplish this endeavor.

If you successfully create a book, any type of computer software, any type of music that others can enjoy, drawing, or any other type of item similar to these, you can be compensated for many, many years to come by way of a residual income. Many people experience difficulties in seeing the income that is generated by these types of Medias initially, however, success normally prevails in no time at all. This is especially true if you have created a unique and well-liked piece.

There are numerous types of investments that can be pursued which can lead to a residual income. Some popular choices in this category may be opening and maintaining a savings account with a financial institution or investing in various types of stocks. You may even select to apply for a credit card that allows you to receive cash back reward incentives and monetary rewards for maintaining a certain balance and making payments on time.

Sales commissions, like those earned by insurance agents, realtors, and other professionals, count as residual income. Generally, these are commensurate with the amount of the sale. Most commissions are a percentage of the sale total, however, some correlate directly with the number of sales, instead.

Many people create their own business. This can be a brick and mortar business, a home business, or an online business. The profits that you experience as a business owner can be considered residual income. This is especially true if you offer goods and/or services that require the consumer to maintain a monthly, or yearly, subscription.

Some people have vast amounts of land and their numerous natural resources readily available. Do you know that there are certain types of businesses that will pay you residual income for permitting them access to your lands natural resources? Generally, you receive an initial payment and then you may receive an income based on the consistency of the sales of those particular natural resources. This is an interesting method of creating a residual income.

Affiliate programs that offers services where you receive a set amount over time are also a form of residual income. Some affiliate programs offer services like autoresponders and webspace to Internet marketers. They may pay commissions to resellers if their customers stay on after being referred.

There are numerous methods and techniques for creating your own residual income. You must keep in mind however, the knowledge that a residual income may not be sufficient to live off. When you are interested in these types of residual income, you will need to research many settings while becoming active and involved with more than just one method or technique of residual income. Once you match the income of both residual and linear, you may find yourself leaning towards making more money by using these methods or techniques of income.

High Search Engine Rankings - Get Yours Now

Sep 28, 2008 Author: Chuck Stewart | Filed under: Internet Marketing

I have been operating web sites for the last couple of years. I have developed a proven method of getting the sites I run into the search engines quickly. I then use that same method to help get them to rank well for a small number of keywords, allowing the buoyancy effect to come into play for the rest of the site when one or two keywords ranks very high. In case you were not aware, when one or two keywords rank well within a given site, many secondary keywords enjoy a buoyancy effect and are lifted because of the nice rankings of the main keywords.

I like to review a handful of concepts with the design team before we launch a new site. I like to start by checking for H1 and H2 tags being used throughout the main pages of the web site. Search engine spiders are quick to notice and crawl text in these tags, so they are important in helping the spiders to understand the theme of the site. With good content and the right tags to support them, the site will quickly be crawled by the spiders, the theme will be correctly derived and the search engines can start sending traffic to the site when people request information using the keywords.

I look for anchor text being used in the text on the home page. I have helped many website owners to achieve better rankings by having them remove images where the important message of the site, what it is all about, is embedded in the image. The simple fact is that, while it may look more attractive to the user, the search engines cannot read images and pull text away from the image, so it is not worthwhile to put the important message of the site in the image. I recommend using a smaller image and having the text be in a prominent position so that the user can click and go instantly to the point of interest.

I like to have a page contained in the site for each keyword being used. The search engines like to be able to specifically go to pages that are called the same as the keyword they are targeting. A page written for a wedding photographer should contain anchor text on the home page for a wedding photographer leading them to a page in the site of the same name. The search engines will know exactly what to do with that link and can quickly give it the right theme to work with.

I also study the use of underscores and dashes. Lots of studies have been done concluding that underscores do not rank as well as dashes in naming conventions. I have no idea why it is so but it is so we should all follow the guideline. Even if everything else was exactly the same, it has been proven that two pages named graduation-day.htm and graduation_day.htm will not be rewarded with the same rankings. Many studies have been done proving the results so I always stay away from it.

Do you want to know what the search engines think the theme of your site is? The absolute best way to do review this information is to use the Google Keyword Tool (type that phrase into a search engine). You will be treated with what the search engine believes your site is about when you look at the terms it returns. Many clients of mine are surprised to learn that the search engines do not think the site is even remotely close to what they intended and we go through a process of fixing the view from the search engine’s perspective. We do that mostly by putting simple no follow terms into the links and by highlighting keywords with H1 and H2 tags. The situation can quickly be turned around so please do not worry if your site is not what you think.

Google Massacres scalp system

Sep 27, 2008 Author: chris v chanel | Filed under: Internet Marketing

Hello, My name is Chris C, I have been working from home as an internet marketer since 2004, Today I am going to go over a google massacres scalp system.

Im sure you have heard about google massacre because it is everywhere on the internet, There are a lot of discussions about it on forums. There are also a lot of gurus promoting it.

Steve Lee & Andrew Fox created google massacre, They are very successful ppc marketers and show you how to have great success with their product google massacre.

I don’t know much about Steve but I have a lot of respect for Andrew Fox, It seems like every product he comes out with is great quality. The latest product apart from google massacre is called dominating cb.

In my honest opinion google massacre is one of the best ebooks I have ever bought. It is well written and I learned a a lot from it, I probably learned more in that ebook than I learned with all of the others put together.

My favourite thing about google massacre is that it is a pure step by step system, It is a plan that is all laid out for you and all you have to do is follow it.

Steve Lee & Andrew Fox have come up with a great system called scalp.

I would like to tell you the secrets of the scalp system but obviously I am not allowed but what I can say for now is that it is very clever and I am sure Andrew Fox worked hard on it.

The google massacre scalp system is devided into 5 sections, each letter of scalp is a different section in the ebook.

The s section is an overview of a google adwords account

The c section is a section on something called targeted wealth creation

The a stands for ad copy and something called googleology

The l is a section dedicated to lists and targeted list buyers

The p represents a section called pure perfection program

I am sure you can see that the google massacre scalp system looks slightly confusing but believe me everything you need is in there.

5 Practical Secrets to Impact Your Article Marketing

Sep 25, 2008 Author: T.Grizzell | Filed under: Internet Marketing

Your expertise is the best bait you can use to lure online users to visit your website. If you can offer these people with solutions to their pressing issues, enlightenment about their areas of interest, instructional texts that can empower them to do things on their own, and answers to their burning questions, you can be confident that they will run to your website in no time. You can easily distribute useful wisdom to your potential clients through article marketing.

Here’s how you can make your article marketing strategies have more impact:

1. Sign up with all major article submission sites. You need to widely circulate your articles so you can make it much easier for your possible clients to find them. Make sure you do a Google search to see which sites sites have the best traffic and good page ranking. The reason for this, you want to make sure your article will get the best exposure Each submission site has their own rules so make sure you understand them before you post your article.

2. Don’t use article spinning software. A lot of article marketers are using these software in their effort to increase the number of their articles they post. Although these tools can offer you with multiple copies, they cannot in anyway guarantee their how good they are. So, be willing to hand write your articles or hire someone to do it for you.

3. You should use the upside down pyramid technique.this means you need to get your readers to digest your articles completely. You want your reader to be well-informed the moment they completed reading your articles but also to increase your chances of convincing them to click on your resource box. You can easily keep these people interested by using the inverted pyramid methodology. This simply implies that you need to put the most noticeable details on the first 100 words of your articles so you can enthuse your readers early on.

4. Keep your readers in mind. You’ll stand great chances of dominating this field if you know how to keep your readers happy. You can do this by making sure that your content is highly targeted to their needs and demands and by making sure that your articles are easy to understand.

5. Last but not least make a killer resource box. Some people just leave their website’s URL on their resource box thinking that it will do the trick for them. No wonder these people are not getting the most out of their marketing strategies. If you want online users to click on your resource box, you must make sure that you give them good reasons to do so. You can tell them the kind of education that they can get from your site or if you are feeling generous, you can throw away exciting freebies to your first time visitors.

Internet Sales mlm Voip Solution Voip business Opportuntty

Sep 25, 2008 Author: Thulas Sukati | Filed under: Internet Marketing

The idea of running after friends and relatives puts off many people from joining an MLM business. Then having to approach strangers to join is also quite unwelcome. Normally, most people are unfortunately told that they have to make a list of each individual that they know in order to get started within their MLM; however, this is a method that is very ineffective and it can in turn lead to disappointment, frustration and failure, ultimately. Just because someone knows you and likes you does not mean that he will be willing to join a network marketing operation. They could like the product but wouldn’t want to be a part of the business venture.

You’ll find it more worth your while to go look for people who have an interest in this kind of business. There are several people that are bringing in really good income just by using the internet as their main tool for earning income and just about each MLM will provide their distributors with a free web site that they are able to use. All of these sites are very useful when it comes to leading prospects once they have pre-qualified. One can attract people with a blog, Squidoo lens or one’s own website and then use a squeeze or opt in page to promote the replicated website.

Online, you need to promote yourself before you promote your product - this you will find is a very important part of the selling process. The internet gives you access to people who could well become business partners and these are people you might never have met otherwise in your daily life. With the internet you can sponsor people in any country your business is in, and teach and train them as well, all from the comfort of your home!

MLM and network marketing are all about relationships and just because you are currently using the internet for your marketing means isn’t going to change this. It is important to build relationships with leads you have generated yourself, as well as new people you bring on your team. There are a whole lot of free communications services like Yahoo, MSN and Skype that help you keep in touch with all your business partners no matter where they are. Even a few years ago, it would not have been possible to stay in touch like we do today what with the cost of phone bills being so terribly high.

Building an MLM on the internet does not have to be expensive and most are very low cost or even free. You need to work hard and have patience - that’s what it takes to build a business. It is also worth avoiding anything that claims or implies they will ‘build the business for you’. Don’t get fooled that you will get something in return for nothing as network marketing cannot be successfully built on that premise. Most people become successful by being completely focused and determined enough in order to put in all of the effort that is required.

Work From Home: Beware the Scam of the day!

Sep 25, 2008 Author: George Ajourte | Filed under: Internet Marketing

Imagine being able to stay home and make a living at the same time! That is a plausible dream. Unfortunately, only a few legitimate home business opportunities are available. Most advertised “home businesses” are scams designed to take your money. In today’s fast-access internet world, people need to be cautious.

With the internet providing millions of people easy access to legitimate and scam opportunities, it is no wonder so many fall victim to these predatory scams. They advertise easy money and no work needed. Flashy cars and gorgeous mansions fill the advertisements. Anyone can be bewitched by such luxury.

Different scams lurk on the internet and television. A particularly goofy home business scam that a lot of people fall for is stuffing envelopes. Ads claim thousands of dollars if you stuff envelopes. All you ever get for your money is advertisements to post so that other people will send you money in a stamped, addressed envelope, hoping you’ll send them information on a home business. All you have to give them is more home business advertisements! A few other gullible people may actually send the envelopes and couple bucks to you, if you even put the flyers up, but you aren’t going to make hundreds, let alone, thousands of dollars.

A pretty terrible home business scam involving money orders is said to fund terrorism. Supposed businesses claim to need payment processing done by at-home workers. A processor receives money order payments sent by mail. You are supposed to cash them at your local bank. Take what you are owed. Wire the money to a designated foreign place and your work is done. Great gig, until your bank calls to say the money orders are phony! Your bank charges you for the lost funds. Once that money is transferred, you can say goodbye to it. This is definitely not conducive to making money; it’s a very bad plot indeed!

Home business dreamers often fall prey to another sort of home business scam. Instead of offering you a home business, they offer a list of companies searching for home business workers. You pay them and all you get is a bogus list of companies that may never have even hired home based workers! One other notable scheme involves becoming a spammer; trying to spam-scam people yourself!

Trouble usually hounds you when you mess with home business scams. You usually lose hard-earned money. If you are looking for work, losing money will not help. Valuable time will also be wasted. The last thing you want is legal troubles, and you may get them if you participate in a home business scam. Finding real home business opportunities takes caution!

To protect yourself, there are measures you can take. Check out any home business with the Better Business Bureau in your area. Make sure to keep your personal information personal. Most importantly, if you have to pay upfront, it is probably a scam.

Since only a few home based business opportunities exist, finding them can be a real challenge. Don’t give up and give in to a home business scam. Look into working for 1-800-FLOWERS, Easter Seals Home Telemarketers, or Ver-a-fast. These companies offer legitimate home business positions. Scammers are out there, keep your eyes peeled as you search!
