Once you have decided to become an internet marketer, you have already assumed that all of your talents, expertise, knowledge, commitment, and dedication are sufficient for making your dreams a reality.

That however only sets your level of potential you have to succeed. They don’t guarantee actual success.

What guarantees actual success is not the effort you put into your internet business but rather the constraints you discover and overcome to become unstoppable.

Here are the 3 distinct types of constraints that you need to eliminate if you ever want your actual success to match that of your potential to succeed.

#1: Rational Constraints:

* Errors in the you think
* Being to concerned with all the details
* Losing sight of the big picture
* Wasting time and resources searching for that missing link

#2: Procedural Constraints:

* Processes in your business that are counterproductive
* The way you go about working and running your business

Because your work processes and habits are closely tied to your personality, they can be difficult for you to detect.

However, it is vital to see how they can affect the way you develop your strategies and tactics, how you get along with and manage people, how well you develop, market and sell your products, and how you provide service to your customers.

#3: Self Constraints:

* Assumptions, rules and other conditions that exist in YOUR mind only
* The limitations you have created based on your experiences of building your online business
* “I don’t want my sales pages to look like that my competitors”
* “I don’t feel comfortable asking a person that question”

At this point, if the success of your business means anything to you, it is crucial to take an honest look at the rules you’ve created for your business and how many of them are holding you back?

Would you be willing to give them up if it meant an increased measure of success?

Stick to your “whatever it takes to succeed” attitude from the start of your venture and bust through these limitations that are keeping you from all the financial rewards, pride, and success you can imagine!

It’s clear that social marketing on MySpace, YouTube, and Facebook is the wave of the future for chiropractic marketing and garnering residual income, but what people don’t realize is that it’s tremendously important to market yourself correctly from the beginning. You need the right guidance to make sure you develop proper credibility within your community, and you need your guide to have experience. Don’t spend thousands to get off on the wrong foot, wasting time and precious energy. There are some secret rules that you must learn to correctly navigate the journey ahead.

Social media is an interesting phenomenon, in the fact that, it has spread like wildfire and permanently altered the landscape and dynamics of communication as we know it. A question that is asked frequently by chiropractors is, “Are social networks just for teenagers?” In short, the answer is a whopping no! Not sure where this misconception came from but many are still oblivious to the millions of middle and older aged folks plugged in daily. Did you know that employers are actually passing laws at work because employees are literally addicted to this style of communication? As a savvy business owner and entrepreneur, I knew the implications of this immediately so I took advantage and my life hasn’t been the same since.

Ride the information super-highway straight to better abundance for your business and your life. Get on the path to success and utilize the unique power of Web 2.0 to transform your practice almost overnight. While you’re at it, I’ll teach you to create endless streams of income from other sources.

I can show you exactly how to use social media to get tons of new patients into your office each month. And here’s the real prize: you aren’t going to pay one dime on advertising to do it! Your current consultant or practice management “guru” likes to pretend like they know what I’m talking about, but in reality they have no idea about what I teach, and they wish they did.

Barely anyone is using social networks to build their practice at the present time. The ones that are doing it successfully are the ones that I taught. They are utterly dominating the competition in the community and are able to reach people that would otherwise be untouchable with the do-not-call lists or with postcards, etc. On one of my profiles, I have in excess of 6,400 friends, 3,000 of which are members of my local community who I can communicate with via blogs and bulletins. I am the first and only consultant to leverage the power of social media and share these carefully guarded secrets with other struggling doctors and students.

I was able to personally establish myself as the best chiropractic expert in my community and almost automatically received countless new referrals monthly. The reputation that I have created for myself is gold in the industry, and when people go onto MySpace or YouTube looking for a doctor / chiropractor, they’re going to come up with me. People are hungry for this information, and my endless speaking engagements are proof. My goal was to improve the business and lives of practicing chiropractors and many others, and I have achieved that goal.

Begin to brainstorm on what you want to be known for in your community and you can even start to create simple videos that will showcase your talents and let the people know that you are a real person. Keep the videos under five minutes, as people have a short attention span. Also, make them fun, interactive, and interesting so folks want to hear about your next adventure or health tip of the day. If you are unsure about how to create a video and the technical aspects, my video training course will bring you up to speed in no time.

And all of this is easier than you ever imagined. You don’t even need a camera to start, but you might want one down the line. When I first began, I made my video with screen capture software, and the success I achieved from that was amazing. Those doctors paying through the teeth for pay-per-click would love to have the free advertising tricks that I teach. It’s time to dominate Google with this free advertizing technique, and ditch the dollar-per-click trap. You’re going to achieve results that you never imagined possible.

Marketing Systems Solutions

Wave goodbye to your long commute to the office. No more traffic jams for you. You can sleep in and stay in your sweats. You have decided to take the plunge and join the thousands of people who have home based businesses.

No matter what type of business you are running, or what type of business you might be considering taking part in, without successful marketing you are dead in the water. The bottom line is that people arenat going to buy your product or service if they donat know it exists, so when you are looking at going into business for yourself, you will need to find a marketing system that works.

Dreams are not all that unique. Thousands of people have gone before you in starting a home-based business. So take advantage of the experience of those who have found success. There are several websites that feature information boards and live chats with experienced individuals willing to share what they have learned.

Some home based business opportunities give their partners a ready-made strategy for marketing or assist them in creating a custom made marketing strategy for a small fee. The cost of such a program may seem high at first, but it could end up saving you lots of money by directing you to what works best.

Once you know what marketing opportunities are out there, you will want to focus on the ones that bring in the most customers. From direct mail marketing with postcards to online banner advertising, the possibilities abound. Find out what works best for your product or service in your area.

Never rely on just one source of marketing no matter how successful it has been because things can happen and it may not always work. Plan to divide your advertising budget between a few successful strategies in order to have a broader range of exposure.

Developing a system that is diverse at its core is the best way to market any business or service. Creating a pie chart and having five or six different delivery methods to prospects is the ideal solution. Each month, review that chart when reconciling your sales reports. This will clearly display where the largest chunk of your advertising dollars should be spent in the next marketing blitz.

Diligence and diversity are key elements of any successful marketing strategy. Stay on top of your marketing plan. Keep good records and review them regularly. Your efforts will pay off with a greater exposure to potential customers and subsequent increased profits.

About the Author:

When you understand your visitors, the problems they have, and how they want to solve them, you are on your way to having a successful marketing plan for an online business. But even more important is understanding the steps your prospects go through before they actually buy from you. After all, it’s the money from the sales that we are all seeking.

This plan I’m going to reveal to you covers everything from the very first stages of your visitor’s thoughts all the way through checkout making sure you know how to create a seamless buying process for your future customers.

Step 1: Recognizing what your prospects want.

The buying process always starts with acknowledging a specific need or want that your prospect has. Whether they have a problem and need a solution or it’s just some frivoulous desire, your customer will need to see a personal benefit before they are interested in your offer. They will most concerned it what’s in it for them.

With all the competition and choices they have online today, they are in total control of what they want to buy and who they want to buy it from.

As an online marketer, you need to create this desire for your prospects so they can relate to it. This will get them interested in getting more information about your offer and building a long-term relationship with you.

Step #2: Researching the Product

Your potential customer is now doing their research to see what products are available that can fulfill their needs and who is offering them.

This is when they’re looking for product features, pricing, and other options so they can match it to their need.

This would be an ideal time to talk about what your product or service does and ask your prospects questions so you can direct them towards the right product for their particular situation.

Step 3: Refining and Evaluation

Once a prospect completes their research, they then begin to narrow down their choices by weeding out the options that won’t work the best for them. They will examine the features and the businesses to make sure they know what they are buying and who they are buying it from.

It might be a good idea to offer a bonus or incentive for buying the product from you. You can assure the customer that your company will provide them with great support if they even need any help. Any doubts or lack of trust at this point can often turn your visitor away and they might go elsewhere.

Step 4: Reaching Out and Communicate

This is one of the latest steps in the online buying process. It has become easier for people to interact with each other as your prospects are surfing the web and they want to take full advantage of this new option.

People are going on the internet and seeking the opinions of others regarding their experience with a certain product, service or vendor before they make any purchases. The better reputation your product or company has out there, the more at ease your future customer will be.

It has been determined that as much 80% of people who read online product reviews believe them over your own sales material. This will either secure your sale or eliminate it so make sure your company has a good reputation online.

Step 5: Resolution.

Your prospect has narrowed down their choice to a specific product or service. They decide what they are going to buy and who they are going to buy from. This doesn’t mean the deal is finalized though.

The customer has almost reached their final decision but still needs to feel confident about the security of their purchase. Place logos on your purchase page that give you credibility and let the buyer know that his or her transaction is secure on your website. This can often increase sales and help retain customers longer.

Step 6: Purchase - The Order is Finished Now Deliver the Goods

After evaluating all their options, your prospect has now decided to choose your company for their needs. They are no longer a prospect; they are your own personal customer now which is every entrepreneur’s favorite person.

To show your appreciation for their business, the next page should be a “Thank You” page. Also, send them an email confirmation of their order, thank them again, and remind them of all the awesome benefits they’re about to receive.

Step 7: Reconsider - Did I Really Make the Right Decision?

This is the time for every company’s worse enemy which is buyer’s remorse. It’s when all the questions and doubts begin to hit your customer. But all they really need is a little reassurance that they actually can get their money back if needed and that you will be there for good customer support.

This is the time to show your customer that you really believe in your product by reviewing the benefits and offering a money-back guarantee. You need to reassure them of your comittment. They see it as a positive; if you’re willing to risk the sale, then the product must be worth it. You can reassure them that you are there to help should any questions or concerns arise.

Be sure to evaluate each step thoroughly so your visitor’s buying process is very easy for them. Make it a pleasure and they will return time after time!

Learn how to achieve success with this internet business

Oct 2, 2008 Author: John Wallen | Filed under: Internet Marketing

The days of shorts and flip-flops are almost at an end. With October right around the corner, that is the final sign we are definitely in the fall season. This is our favorite time of year to go camping. We still pack some of those summer clothes, cause the afternoons are sometimes still getting a little warm, and there’s nothing like being to hot on the hiking trail.

We really like being able to avoid the rush of the weekends, and get away for a couple of days during the week. We work at home in a very successful internet business that gives us the freedom to do this. It’s nice not having to hurry on Friday afternoon to get a good campsite. Now we usually have the whole place to ourselves and get the best sites.

We are very inspired by this business because it gives us the security to enjoy this kind of freedom. Having control of doing what you want when you want, keeps us in spirit. It’s like unlocking the magnetic law of attraction. Once Deb and I realized our fears were holding us back, we decided to leave that insanity behind and started to create a better future.

We learned real quick there was no one more responsible for creating success in our life, than our very own selves. Just get rid of all those notions that a job was the most important thing that would bring us happiness in life. We put all things aside that were locking us in our personal prison. We were not going to have those past perceptions have their way anymore.

You can create your own reality we were finding out, in no time at all, but only because we kept pushing away any of the old notions about living. The law of attraction was showing up more and more, just like it does for all those others that are dripping with success. We held on to that connection, and it brought us to the most amazing opportunity that really had it together.

This was a affiliate business we could start part time working at home using the internet. We are grateful to have the chance to be a part of a group that have learned to use their minds to create what it is they really want out of their lives. They do not allow any thoughts of failure to get in their way. We had live training with the best minds on the web, at home on the internet.

We really had to become aware of what we were allowing to run through our minds during the day. You might think its not easy to think about what your thoughts are, but think about this, your feelings are always in your face, and they are a very good indicator of where your thoughts are taking you. Feeling bad -bad direction, feel good and you create that magnetic energy.

We have got this down pat for good reason. We love our internet business and want to succeed. When things get a little hectic or even a lot hectic, we know how we feel is a good sign for what needs to be done. Keeping good thoughts going is the only way to bring into your life what you really want. Something good will be trying to get to you, and you want to be in the right mind.

Split Test Your Way To Profit

Oct 1, 2008 Author: Justin Harrison | Filed under: Internet Marketing

So you have heard the buzz, and you’ve heard the craze, but is there really any value in split testing, or is it just another buzz phrase touted by Internet Marketers?

Well the truth is split testing is by far one of the best ways to increase your productivity and most importantly your profitability.

Split testing provides you with the unique ability to literally test what your target audience likes most, and then increase your performance by using the results to improve your offers and future marketing efforts.

In a nutshell, split testing allows you to conduct a controlled experiment with your offers to help to see which factors make them perform better for your campaigns.

By split testing, you can take the information and make changes to help grow your business either directly though sales, or by using split testing to increase your conversion of visitors to prospects.

But don’t be fooled, split testing might sound easy enough, however like any scientific experiment it requires you to know and use a very specific set of parameters to ensure that your split test results are valid.

If you browse the forums, you’ll find hundred of posts of people giving advice on split testing, however you need to be cautioned that most of these people in these forums do not know the correct methods for split testing, and more often that not this misinformation can lead to serious losses within your business.

Split Testing on the face of it seems like the simplest of concepts; you throw together two page variations, stick this in some software and then basically wait for the result, however whilst the concept is easy, it’s the formula that really counts and makes the difference between a valid split test, and an Invalid split test.

There are not to many great resources out there on the subject of split testing, however if you Google “How to Split Test” or Split Test Guide, there are a few that come up on the first page that are worth investigating.

So if you are serious about increasing your business through the use of split testing, then I highly recommend you do your research before simply following any old advice on split testing.

Simple website optimsiation for everybody

Oct 1, 2008 Author: G Tomkins | Filed under: Internet Marketing

Visitors to your website will only continue whilst you provide rich content that is updated regularly. In order to attract and continue attracting visitors to your web site you need to ensure that it effectively delivers information that they are interested in and provides appropriate functionality. If there is no value to your VISITORS then they will not return. You want to have them return. You must aim to have them take an action that leads to business opportunities for you.

Research shows that only 40% of websites are indeed effective. My personal experience would put the figure MUCH lower. How do you measure effectiveness. As the owner of the website you can answer that question by asking yourself - To what extent does my website positively contribute to the way in which I conduct my business.

As to what constitutes a positive contribution and what you can do about that is another matter. Contribution is most often measured in terms of bottom line revenue, be it direct or indirect. You should measure this after all you have most likely put a heavy investment into your business website and unless you are in the practice of throwing money away I would suggest you conduct an audit of your website to clearly determine just how effective it really is. In the mean time you may wish to consider the following points:

1. Document the processes - This is no different to any other aspect of your business. Every aspect of your site and its operation and support should be documented and managed to a plan. This is a valuable business asset. The review of its effectiveness should be conducted on a regular basis and in accordance with a documented plan. Be sure that your operational staff have an input to the design. Whilst web developers are good at creating terrific looking websites they are not business people and have little understanding of such so do not be lead by them in how your business should operate its website.

3. Does your website address your entire market - How many websites seek an international audience yet are only delivered in English. In Australia we are particularly notorious for this and so of en such websites seek out our Asian partners as a key target market. Even matters as simple as providing phone numbers without international codes or giving out 1300 or 1800 numbers without the local number. We sometimes overlook the fact that terms in our own country are not understood overseas.

5. Responsibility for an effective website belongs with you as the business owner. Engaging suitably experienced Web Architects can assist in delivering an effective design that will provide functionality that works with your business and an Internet marketing strategy that will promote your website responsibly.

6. The last aspect to consider is the integrity of your code - Be sure that all program code is without error and that all links go to an actual page. Misusing links are one of the greatest downfalls in websites. A number of websites provide free testing tools to verify W3C compliance, missing links or poor page upload speeds.

Making Money With A Blog

Oct 1, 2008 Author: Steven J. Talrechi | Filed under: Internet Marketing

While you already know that having a blog is a terrific way to make your opinions known; but you may not know that it can also offer you a way to make some money. Blogs are one of the fastest growing sectors of the media and investors and advertisers alike are coming around. If you never thought of making money from your blog before, there’s no time like the present to get started. There a re a lot of blogs out there which do make money for the bloggers behind them - why shouldn’t your blog bring in a little extra money for you?

You can make money from your blog by selling ad space there. Many blogs enter into agreements with pay per click advertisers who put ads on the blog in the form of sidebars or banners. In exchange for placing these ads on your page, you’ll be paid a fee for each time someone clicks these ads and goes on to the advertiser’s site.

Another way to make money is to rely on the generosity of your readers. Many blogs leave up requests for donations along the bottom of the page or along the side. Essentially, you may consider this a tip jar, where your readers can throw a few dollars your way if something you wrote especially benefited them. While you should not expect much money this way, some readers do appreciate a way to show their appreciation

You can also make money from your blog by giving exposure to the products or services you have to offer. For instance, if you’re selling pet supplies then you may find that adding some content relevant to your wares can net you some extra sales. By giving information about your products, you can draw in more visitors and give them some interest in your product or service.

You can also make money from blogging if you join up with a blog network. In these networks, you’ll write for a specific purpose and get paid for the traffic you pull in or by the entry you write. These networks ensure that you’ll reach an audience and get paid for your blogging efforts; however, you will have less latitude about how you blog and what you blog about.

If you want to make money by blogging, keep in mind that you have a lot of options for ways to do it. Decide which method is most appealing to you and carefully consider how to make the most of this money making opportunity.

Get your busienss website optimised easily

Sep 30, 2008 Author: Greg Tomkins | Filed under: Internet Marketing

You have a simple objective with your website - attracting qualified visitors to be converted to business opportunities. In order to achieve this you will need to ensure that they wish to return and this will only come through having rich content. You then need them to take some form of action that will create a business opportunity for you

How much does your website contribute to your business bottom line? Some research suggests that 40% of websites are ineffective. Personal evidence would suggest that particularly with SME businesses it is as much as double this.

It is critical in business to understand what your website contributes to your business and this should be measurable. Most easy is to examine the impact on your business bottom line figure. You have spent a great deal of money in creating your website and maintaining it. You should understand the level of return it is making in your business. If you are unable to clearly determine this then you may wish to consider performing a website audit with qualified consultants or website designers who can independently provide an unbiased opinion. In performing this audit consider the following aspects:

2. The website is not the domain of your IT Manager of PA - This is a corporate tool and impacts every part of your business. Get your whole management team involved with decisions made about the look and feel, the functionality and the support. Be sure to involve the marketing people by the way!

3. Designing to meet the needs of those with disabilities - Whilst it may sound strange to expect blind people to read your website this is in fact a requirement under W3C standards and in fact a disabled person apparently took the Sydney 200 Olympic website to court because they could not read it as a visually impaired person and won their case. A few websites now have the ability to be read aloud as they comply with the W3C standards but I would venture to say this is a small minority.

We sometimes overlook the fact that terms in our own country are not understood overseas.

6. Treat your website with respect - You have spent a lot of money putting it together. You continue to spend money keeping it active. You pay far more for a salesperson who invariably is involved in activities that can be achieved through your website. Be smart, use your resources effectively and deliver better results

7. Responsibility for an effective website belongs with you as the business owner. Engaging suitably experienced Web Architects can assist in delivering an effective design that will provide functionality that works with your business and an Internet marketing strategy that will promote your website responsibly.

Better Shopping Carts Means Better Shopping

Sep 30, 2008 Author: Kirt Christensen | Filed under: Internet Marketing

Being a stay at home mom creates a number of challenges in choosing where to shop. With two small boys, factors such as parking, willingness to help from store employees and even the maneurverability of the shopping carts can determine where and I can or can not shop.

Even today, most households require the woman to do most of the shopping for the family. Of course this may not always be fare, but its the reality we live in. Factors such as convenience and the other challenges mentioned above play a big role. As such, I must visit a beauty supply store later this morning. With its narrow aisles and lack of shopping carts, my time inside the store will be minimal.

I believe this is true for alot of stay at home moms with children. The inability to maneuver through a store may keep them from visiting the store all together or may limit their shopping to specific items only. This means less money will be spent and limited \”impulse buys\”. All in the attempt to avoid a public melt down by either mom or the kids.

Of the various factors, maybe the most important one is the shopping cart. For me to shop at a store and possibly linger versus simply getting the specific items I seek, the shopping cart needs to be wide enough to securely place a car seat or infant carrier inside without the feeling of the possibility that the cart may topple over.

The ideal shopping cart for a small business should be sturdy and lightnot bulky and heavy. It should be large enough to contain the items a shopper needs, but not so large that maneuvering through aisles becomes difficult and frustrating.

On several occassions, I have simply left a store due to frustration created by shopping carts being the wrong size for the shop I was in, or the wheels not working correctly or even aisles to cluttered for me the navigate through them to get to the items which I am most interested. I seem to avoid these stores in the future due to these bad experiences.

I understand that there is a fine line between having shopping carts the appropiate size in comparison to the needed aisle width to accomodate the type of products a store may carry. But I need a cart which is large enough for a five year old to sit in the basket along with whatever items I am purchasing. A good balance is needed for a store to provide a convenient place to shop.

To put so much emphasis on the shopping cart may seem silly, but it’s necessary. There is one particular store which I have had to avoid until my child was big enough to sit up on his own. The stores carts would not accomodate my infant carrier. For my small business, I would make sure to provide a shopping cart that was light weight, probably plastic, sturdy, free turning wheels, wide enough for an infant carrier to be secure and possibly allow for a second child inside. It would be the appropraite size based on the overall size of the store, the products sold at the store and the width of the aisles. This would ensure its ability to maneuver throughout the store and would allow for customers to linger and spend more time, hence spend more money.
