World Ventures launched on December 10, 2005. The little company soon became established in the network marketing field. To date, they have made over $150 million in sales. They are getting a good sized chunk of the 8 trillion dollar world wide travel industry.

The company sells Dream Trip packages to its members. In exchange for a one-time payment, and small monthly maintenance fee, members travel for wholesale prices. World Ventures says most members recoup the cost of their membership with their first two trips. The company also allows members to create ?mini travel businesses? of their own, and share in the wealth.

This is called the LTC package. Leisure Travel Consultants, as they are called, get a customized website that offers the two World Ventures products. They are paid when people book travel through their website, and also when people sign up to be LTCs under them. They are encouraged to show their site to friends and family. This misses the whole point of having a website.

Instead of marketing their websites to people they know, they should be taught to market to everyone researching travel on the internet. It is a common problem with MLM companies, unfortunately. The people trying to sell their products are never really trained as marketers, get lackluster results, and become yet another disappointed person who bad-mouths multi-level marketing, convinced it?s all a scam.

There are some people who are having a lot of success with multi-level marketing, but these are people who are already skilled marketers. They are usually successful selling other products and services too. That is because marketing skills are useful both with internet marketing and face to face marketing. There are people right now who are making full time income by selling products and services over the internet. The only thing they have that other people don’t is marketing know-how. Otherwise, they are just ordinary people.

People can learn marketing by getting a college degree, by experimenting and reading marketing books, and by taking an online marketing course. There are quite a few advantages to taking the marketing course.

Online courses allow a person to learn with a flexible schedule. Students also usually have access to a tutor or instructor to help them. They cost a fraction of what a 4 year degree does, and people don?t have to take any anthropology classes. People who take online marketing classes also don?t have to figure out how to sell to people all on their own.

To recap, my World Ventures review is that although they are an upstanding company, they are not good marketing teachers. They will not teach a person how to be successful with their travel website.
